Meeting point: Hospedarte Centro Hostel

Founded in pre-Hispanic times, Tlaquepaque is a name derived from the word Tlalipac, which means “place on hills of barrial land”. From that time on, it was consolidated as an important center for the production of ceramics and pottery, activities that continue to this day. Cobblestone streets, multicolored houses and workshops where you can taste delicious dishes, are some of the attractions you can find. Its corners speak of its colonial past and it is here where you will find El Parián, as well as galleries that range from religious art to the surreal artists of contemporary Mexico. Let this little taste of art, music and food that make the state of Jalisco so authentic, show you its magic.
